I was contacted by brand Angela & Roi to blog about their handbags. It is my hope that you will find much to admire if you are not acquainted with this brand. What I discovered, during my research of this brand, is that their global outreach is both inspirational and affecting. This brand’s mission, based on the popularity of their handbags, has touched many, including myself.

Angela & Roi's handbags are best described as having a classic identity with a a strong attention to detail. The simple design of their handbags lack bells and whistles for a reason. Who needs bells and whistles when you have classic elegance? I’ll take simple elegance thank you very much. Their bags are not trendy. They are even better. They are timeless. The type of handbags the brand designs includes totes, shoulder bags, backpacks and cross-body bags. The handbags contain the finest of hardware and durable fabrics which together embody quality craftsmanship. In addition, the handbags are comprised of vegan leather which helps Angela & Roi keep the price point of their handbags appealing.

Five dollars from the sale of each handbag is donated to charitable organizations. The diversity of the organizations that Angela & Roi are allied with strongly supports the brand’s mission to combine fashion and altruism. The non-profit organizations they donate to focus their efforts on the research of and treatment of illnesses such as AIDS, kidney disease, diabetes, cancer and Alzheimer’s. How do they translate their mission in a manner that engages their customers? By incorporating colors into their handbag designs that represent specific charitable causes. For example, the purchase of a white handbag will ensure that a five dollar donation is made to the Lung Cancer Alliance and the purchase of a red handbag will ensure a five dollar contribution is directed to the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. In addition, a ribbon accompanies each purchased handbag. A blue ribbon attached to a handbag, for instance, represents colon cancer awareness while a pink ribbon represents breast cancer awareness. Angela & Roi’s online site includes a complete list of the non-profit organizations they have partnered with as well as a list outlining which causes are associated with the color of their handbags and coordinated ribbons.

Another reason to consider this brand’s handbag offerings is that their handbags are completely affordable. Their handbags currently range in price from $65 to $150. My personal favorite Angela & Roi handbag is the Ostrich over-sized tote. It is the kind of relaxed structure, luxe-look bag that speaks to me. This particular bag is popular based on the number of handbags that were sold out when I browsed the site.

My advice: If you find yourself attached to a specific handbag in Angela & Roi's collection, upon browsing their website, it is best to make an immediate purchase due to the popularity of their handbags. Sometimes, it's best to not let a good handbag get away.
